The tent has an entrance on the opposing side, with a dual mesh/waterproofed door, and a bad weather cover.I got this tent a few years ago, with the intent of doing some light camping and survival self-discipline. I had reviewed it on a list of "best tents" of the year 2008, and purchased it from a seller I don't recall for about $160--maybe more. I was disappointed that I haven't used it, though I have every intention of doing so; I've had a bit of a rough time, financially, but things are smoothing out, and I wanted to prep for use! It weights all of 5 pounds, maybe a bit more, just by my estimation. The bag is about a foot and a half long, and fits in my medium ALICE pack with plenty of room for more.
